This work is about the degradative nature of our bodies. Through the process of this piece, I was sincerely considering the binaries in which we categorize our bodies through man v. woman, abled v. disabled, athletic v. unathletic, talented v. untalented. We seek to label our core essence in an attempt to defeat the inevitable -- that we will all be reduced to nothing.
